Originally trained as an architect, Frank Alexander Salaris established this event design firm, which works with clients such as GQ and Fox Network. For the Central Park Conservancy’s 2007 Halloween Ball, the firm transformed the main dining room with mist, trees draped with strands of beads, a Ping-Pong ball chandelier, and 250 weather balloons, onto which blue-tinted photographs of Central Park were projected, creating a ghostly effect. Hallways throughout the venue were transformed into a hall of mirrors, furthering the surreal, spooky effect of the event.
