Our team works very hard to bring your wedding experience to a new level. In the mid-’90s, I started Powers Photography Studios to be an entirely new type of wedding documentary company. Today, we are considered one of the best and most ingenious wedding photography studios in the United States, having documented weddings across the country, in India, Mexico, Italy, the Caribbean, and many other parts of the world.
Our work has been published in People magazine along with many other industry journals. We’ve been lucky enough to work with many amazing couples, from Miss America to folks next door. After years of dedicated hard work, in 2009 our team was named the “Best Wedding Photography Studio in Portland” by Oregon Bride magazine. Our artists come from all corners of the globe; we bring together a highly creative and unique variety of photographic talent. DarkLight Creative, our newest studio, is the country’s first exclusively winter wedding photography company, while Moving Picture Weddings, a division of Powers Studios, is one of the first firms in the country to fuse motion picture and still photography, thus catapulting your options to an entirely new and never-before obtainable level.
