Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park is a year-round organic urban oasis filled with natural wonders for visitors of all ages. Ten themed areas include a butterfly habitat, native wildlife pond, scent garden, shade garden, and heirloom garden. Opening September 12, 2009, the Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium will unveil the secret lives of tropical butterflies to Dallas visitors.

Enjoy your organic wedding, quinceañera, or corporate event at Texas Discovery Gardens. Our seven-and-a-half acres include lawns, fountains, and indoor rental space, including the soon-toopen Canopy Room overlooking the Butterfly House. Locations vary in size to fit your company picnic, gala, or intimate wedding. Our organic gardening practices create soft lawns that encourage walking barefoot down the aisle. Seasonal plantings create year-round color in the Grand Allee and Circular Garden. Full-length picture windows in our Grand Hall allow guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the gardens.
