With the opening of our totally renovated and reimagined Oceanarium, we are offering your guests the opportunity to explore the Pacific Northwest and come face-to-face with graceful Pacific white-sided dolphins, stately beluga whales, charming sea otters, and awesome sea lions. Your guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres along a scenic ocean coastline — right here in Chicago. Next they’ll savor a dinner or strolling reception around our 90,000-gallon Caribbean Reef habitat. As part of the aquarium rental package, a Shedd diver will give a feeding presentation in the reef — a delightful finish to your guests’ own dining experience. Then they can explore our Waters of the World galleries to discover fishes, frogs, lizards, and other aquatic animals from near and far. If dancing is your passion, our Kovler Family Hall comes alive with a band or a deejay.
